Meet Cara Jaye

Cara Jaye is a multi-hyphenate artist. Actor, musician, photographer, mascot… the list goes on. She grew up in the DC area and was inspired be the incredible theater scene in the metro area. She actively pursued acting and music in school and studied acting at Roundhouse Theatre and Olney Theatre. She went on to study jazz performance at University of Maryland Baltimore County, where she also performed as the beloved Chesapeake Bay Retriever mascot, True Grit.

Shortly after graduation she moved to New York City to continue her acting studies and has performed as an actor and musician all over the city, from music clubs in Harlem to Caroline’s on Broadway to The Flea Theatre. She studied Meisner Technique at The Acting Studio - New York, where she is a member of their Chelsea Repertory Lab. You can find her all over the city, usually on the hunt for the best Drunken Noodles and pizza!
